here’s the thing ..the thrust here is that he is a poet …whereas any form of drama can be said to be a collective enterprise ..why should he be the only one who doesn’t get paid ..thus no scripts ..mere fragments of dreams

D.O.A. -’Dead on arrival’ is a film noir classic that I watched around 6 weeks ago … this is a sort of a homage to how memorable a film it is…
..in many of the texts on writing for film I’ve recently read, they suggest visualising your characters around extant moviestars
…an idea in itself ..that I superficially explored in some of the earlier works in this blog.
If I had my way, tho’ …I’d insist on Jimmy Stewart for this one ….

The problem with being human is that we usually have to be “fake” to be accepted – wearing a “no comment” off the rack suit with a plain shirt and uninteresting tie to a job interview, not voicing certain opinions because you know you’ll just end up in a pointless argument with someone else in the room who holds the polar opposite views…in the end, we get so used to lying that we forget to stop when we no longer need to. I suppose that’s why people don’t seem “convincing in reality” – they’ve forgotten how to be real.
